Purpose and duration of data processing
To conduct a survey, we first collect your surname, first name and contact details. We receive this data from clients to whom you have given your consent to the processing of your data for the purposes of surveys and market research or who have a legitimate interest in the processing of your data for the purposes of conducting surveys and market research studies. We also process data that we have received from public sources or that we have obtained at random. At the beginning of the survey, you will be asked for your consent to conduct the interview. You can deny this or cancel the survey at any time. Your data will then not be processed any further. The legal basis for data processing is your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). If we collect data by random sampling, we consider this to be a legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR), as some of the data is publicly accessible, so that a restriction of the rights and freedoms of the data subject cannot be assumed.
In the course of the survey, we process all data resulting from the survey. These survey results are then anonymized. We delete any reference to individuals. The clients are provided with anonymized data sets. We delete personal data that we have received from our clients for the purpose of conducting the survey in consultation with the client, but no later than three months after the end of the survey.
We process the data exclusively for the purposes of the surveys and market research. We explicitly exclude the transfer of personal data to third parties through sale, exchange or similar. There is also no automated decision-making (Art. 22 GDPR) based on your survey results.
Recipients
We commission the following subcontractors to conduct the interviews:
Technical service providers for hosting, maintenance, care of our IT as well as for the programming and provision of our survey software, provision and operation of software for the automated sending of e-mails.
Partner institutes that conduct interviews.
Transcription office for the transcription of oral question rounds/interviews
The service providers were commissioned in accordance with the criteria of Art. 28 GDPR. There are corresponding agreements on order processing. Other recipients are the clients of the surveys or market research (see above).
