Integration of Google Maps

We use the Google Maps service on this website. This allows us to show you interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map function conveniently.

When you visit the website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the IP address, the date and time of the request; the time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time; the content of the request (specific page); the access status/HTTP status code; the amount of data transferred in each case; the website from which the request comes, the browser; the operating system and its interface and the language and version of the browser software are transmitted. We use the cookies and tracking tools described below on our website. They are used to fulfill our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) lit f. GDPR) i.e. to measure the efficiency of our website, to design it in line with requirements, to advertise it and to optimize the user experience for visitors.

Cookies

In order to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are stored on your end device. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time. Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a message always appears before a new cookie is created. However, completely deactivating cookies may mean that you cannot use all the functions of our website. You can prevent the use of pixels on our pages by using appropriate tools or browser add-ons (e.g. the “AdBlock” add-on for the Firefox browser). Further opt-out options can be found in the following information about the tools we use.

Online offers on social media platforms

We offer online services on various social media platforms in order to provide information there and to be able to contact you.
We have no influence on the processing of personal data by the respective platform operator. As a rule, when you visit our social media offerings, the platform operator stores cookies in your browser in which your usage behavior and interests are stored for market research and advertising purposes. The platform operators use the usage profiles obtained in this way - usually across all devices - to display personalized advertising to you. Data processing may also affect people who are not registered as users with the respective social media platform. Your data may be processed outside the European Union, which may make it more difficult to enforce your rights. However, when selecting such social media platforms, we ensure that the operators undertake to comply with EU data protection standards.

The processing of your personal data when you visit one of our social media offerings is based on our legitimate interests in a diverse external presentation of our company and the use of an effective information option as well as communication with you. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 I f) GDPR. Under certain circumstances, you may also have given a platform operator your consent to data processing, in which case Art. 6 I a) GDPR is the legal basis.

Detailed information on data processing in connection with the use of our social media offerings, opt-out options and the assertion of information rights can be found in the privacy policy of the respective platform operator.

We use a social plug-in of the microblogging service Twitter on our website, which is operated by Twitter Inc, 1355 Market St., Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. The plug-ins are generally provided with a Twitter logo in the form of a blue “Twitter bird”.

If you call up our site that contains such a plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Twitter servers, the content of the plug-in is transmitted by Twitter directly to your browser and finally integrated into the page. As a result, Twitter receives the information that the browser you are using has accessed the corresponding page of our website. Furthermore, this information (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Twitter server in the USA and stored. This also applies if you do not have a Twitter account or are not logged in to Twitter at the time.

If you do have a Twitter account and are logged in, your visit to our website will be assigned to your Twitter account. If you click the “Tweet” or “Share” button, the information will also be transmitted directly to a Twitter server and stored there. Finally, the information is also published on your Twitter account and displayed to your Twitter “contacts”.

If you do not agree to Twitter assigning the data collected via our website directly to your Twitter account, we recommend that you log out after using the Twitter social network. You can also prevent the Twitter plug-in from loading with add-ons for your browser, for example, you can use the open source software “NoScript” (https://noscript.net/).

Twitter guarantees through certification according to the EU-US Privacy Shield (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000TORzAAO&status=Active) that the data protection requirements of the EU are complied with when processing data in the USA.

The data is processed in accordance with Art. 6 I f) GDPR. With the plug-in, we offer you the opportunity to interact with social networks and other users so that we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user.

Further information regarding the collection and use of data as well as your rights and protection options can be found at https://twitter.com/de/privacy

Use of Piwik/Matomo

This website uses the web analysis service Piwik to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. We can use the statistics obtained to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of Piwik is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Cookies are stored on your computer for this analysis. The information collected in this way is stored by the controller exclusively on its server in Germany. You can stop the analysis by deleting existing cookies and preventing the storage of cookies. If you prevent the storage of cookies, we would like to point out that you may not be able to use this website to its full extent. Preventing the storage of cookies is possible through the setting in your browser. You can prevent the use of Piwik by unchecking the following box to deactivate the opt-out plug-in: This website uses Piwik with the “AnonymizeIP” extension. This means that IP addresses are further processed in abbreviated form, so that direct personal references can be ruled out. The IP address transmitted by your browser using Piwik is not merged with other data collected by us.
